Assuming that they don’t reverse the #GreyhoundRacing decision, the #TasmanianLiberals now need the support of every remaining non- #Greens crossbencher to form govt (with #Garland also ruling himself out)

Premier #DeanWinter might now be a little more likely.

Dean Winter has to convince Tasmanians that the state needs another no-confidence motion Tasmanian politics remains extremely turbulent as Labor leader Dean Winter fights to convince the crossbench to support a fresh no-confidence motion.

#DeanWinter has little credibility when he will not even talk to the @greens.org.au .

Someone remind him what the definition of democracy is please.

Had #DeanWinter and Labor won more seats than #JeremyRockliff and the Liberals, then Winter, purely in terms of earning a mandate, might be in a position to reneg on a pre-election promise that it was either a majority Labor government or nothing.

But Labor lost the popular vote. Simple as that.

#DeanWinter is going to forever paint himself as the Grinch who stole the #AFL and #Tasmania's new club from the people of Tassie if he succeeds in his desperate and pathetic attempt to seize power by cobbling together a motley crew minority government with the Greens & other.

Premier Rockliff reflects on campaign and Tasmanian democracy ahead of state election Tasmanian Premier Jeremy Rockliff has spoken warmly about the importance of democracy and reflected on a hard-fought campaign as the state heads into a pivotal election weekend.

#JeremyRockliff and the Liberals at the end of election day look like holding onto power in #Tasmania, but as expected, not with a majority.

A snap election brought on by a "storm in a teacup" no confidence motion against Rockliff by Labor leader #DeanWinter and the Greens.

Rockliff is a nice guy.

Under the heading is a photo of a bearded man with a dark blue suit and red tie, which nowadays appears to be the uniform of fans of Donald Trump.
Next to the photo is says:
Felix Ellis
Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Management, Minister for Housing, Planning and Consumer Affairs, Minister for Skills and Training, Member for Braddon

The main part of the Press Release says:

The key so-called independents who could hold the balance of power after Saturday's election are destructive left-wing radicals.
They want to end agriculture, aquaculture, forestry and manufacturing.
They've said it themselves.
They will shut down the traditional industries that have built Tasmania's prosperity.
They will destroy jobs and hurt Tasmanian families.
They will force up taxes.
Tasmanians need to think twice about voting for a so-called independent.
They are even more dangerous than the Greens.
