A young dyke sheep catches sight of an oystercatcher on the top of the dyke. It looks like a young child who has just discovered a wonderful new living creature. The sheep seems happy to have a new friend. But the oystercatcher seems to be less than impressed.
Sometimes I have to think back to a scene I observed while birdwatching on the North Sea coast and which I was lucky enough to capture photographically.
As a teacher, it should be my task to facilitate encounters and not stand in the way.
