As far as I am concerned, God with a capital G is a broad term that refers to "The One God" aka "The Creator of the Universe".

It covers all #monotheistic interpretations of God, including #Deistic ones.

The #FFRF asked, "Which god? Xenu? Thor?"

I'm answering that question.

I'm pointing out that even if some of the #FoundingFathers believed in God, they did not necessarily believe in the #Jewish or #Christian version of God, but more likely a #Creator of the #Deistic, or indeed #Masonic, variety.
