#DemocracyDefenderAward was established by 🇨🇦,🇩🇰, 🇲🇪, 🇳🇱, 🇸🇪, 🇨🇭, 🇬🇧 and 🇺🇸 in 2016 and honours a person or group for their exceptional contribution to the promotion of #democracy and the defence of human rights in the spirit of the #HelsinkiFinalAct and other OSCE principles and commitments.
