SLCs are supporting VocalEyes’ #DescribingHeritage project, kickstarting the project at Barnsley Museum.

SLC members are co-creating audio descriptions to make heritage more accessible for blind and partially sighted people. First of 10 location - next stop, Bexhill.

#VocalEyes and Sight Loss Councils are partnering to co-create inclusive audio descriptions for heritage collections. Over 2 years, 10 hubs will work with blind and partially sighted people to improve access to museums and heritage sites.
