Do you remember when #DART struck an asteroid? On September 26, 2022, planetary defense experts aimed the DART spacecraft at #Dimorphos, a little moon of the asteroid #Didymos. It changed the moonlet’s orbit, but also changed the orbit of the asteroid it didn't strike. 🛰️🪨
