Do I recommend?
It's a shame the Graphic Novels is so pricey and just in Spanish but I do recommend this TV series. I could do with more scares in key places but I think it never turns to streaming slop and always keeps the many characters engaging.

Tie-in graphic novel but set in the modern day so a generation later than 1997. It's not on Kindle nor available in English as yet. Also it's hardback so €24 plus €7 delivery from Spain so I can't afford it. If an English version is realised I will review it.

The finale is ok but very non-specific as to what happens in some instances. This is kind of the theme in that we don't know how our efforts really affect the outcomes. At least Sonia's baby was a non-entity so we were spared some demon baby plot.

We get Carmen's backstory and it's suitably traumatic. However the rest of the ep is a bit shuffling the deck with no real scares.

The interface between Muslim and Christian faith is a bit on the nose at times. Yes we get it they are similar but different.

The ep is all a flashback to 1986. At least the flashback ep wasn't the penultimate ep like in every Netflix show. The Djinn besieging the POW camp was very unsettling.

Sonia is instantly someone whose side you are on. The Muslim immigrants too you back. Why 1997? Are immigrants treated differently in 2025?
Sonia getting raped by a demon at the end is something I wasn't expecting and really says this isn't gonna be a clean affair.

This is similar to that other Spanish horror series #Romancero ableit a bit more grounded. It's slow burn horror but I like how quickly the catacombs came into play. Amazon says it's 1997. There was nothing in the eps to indicate so bar no mobiles.

Doncs prou decent aquesta sèrie d’exorcismes interreligiosa situada en una Espanya dels 90. Destacar la interpretació de la Michelle Jenner i en Younes Bouab. #DimeTuNombre la teniu a prime.
Finalizada #DimeTuNombre en PrimeVideoES. Un elegante ejercicio de estilo de terror psicológico con un buen trasfondo politico migratorio. No es mi género favorito pero me ha sorprendido favorablemente con la actriz del momento Carla Quilez en un papel pequeño pero impactante
Soplo de aire fresco a la temática "posesiones" desde el punto de vista de otra religión monoteísta. Gran argumento mezclando historia y costumbrismo e interpretaciones fetén de forma que engancha.
