Infrared image of the Beta Pictoris planetary system. The image shows the star's dusty debris disk and the giant planet Beta Pictoris b at two different positions in its orbit (October 2003 & November 2009), captured by the European Southern Observatory telescopes. The planet's orbit is roughly the size of Saturn's orbit around our Sun.
