Had my first "you've been in bed on disability for ten months, my back is acting up, we're the same" the other day and really having to do internal work on how we can't be seen correctly by everyone in the world. Or sometimes anyone really.

Why can’t those painting parking lots & streets to use anti-slip paint? I parked in a handicap spot this am, yet has to exit my car super carefully bc the stripes next to my car, for a wheelchair accessible van, were slippery as a water slide in the summer. #accessabilityforall #disabilitythoughts
