The first one of four sketched out comic pages. Oliver is leaning his back against a wall, his expression is bashful and his shirt unbuttoned. One of his arms is wrapped around Dorian, who's leaning into him, kissing his neck. "Inquisitor..." Dorian sighs. "Dorian." Oliver reproves, blushing. "No? How about Herald?" Dorian teases. "No!" Oliver protests. Dorian hums thoughtfully, then leans closer to Oliver's left ear as he whispers: "Won't you let me worship you tonight... Maker's chosen?" The blush on Oliver's face deepens, and despite looking slightly uncomfortable, a small sigh of pleasure escapes his lips. Oliver gently pushes Dorian back, creating a little bit of space between them. Dorian seems slightly surprised by this, waiting for the other man to find his words. "Dorian, listen..." Oliver begins.
Second page. Oliver looks down, his expression a subtle mix of sadness and worry. "I'm not any of those titles to you, love." His right palm lingers against Dorian's chest, feeling his heartbeat. A huge lightning scar from a childhood incident is clearly visible on his hand. He wears two rings: a mage band gifted to apprentices after passing their harrowing on his index finger, and a small, delicate ring from his grandmother on his pinky. "I don't wish to be some distant figure looming above you," Oliver continues. "I'd much rather stand beside you. Just... Me. If that is enough for you," he adds. Dorian is looking at Oliver with bewilderment. "Enough...?" He repeats, trying to process what was said.
Third page. Dorian bursts into laughter. "Standing beside the man I love? That is the most tantalizing position I've ever been offered!" Oliver looks up, cautious optimism reflected in his eyes. The lightning scar that was on display on his hand earlier can now be seen extending across his chest. "Things really do work differently down here, don't they?" Dorian muses as he approaches Oliver again, gently caressing his arm. "Yes, amatus. That would be more than 'enough'." Dorian concludes as the two share a passionate kiss.
Fourth and last page. The scene has faded to black. "Good morning, amatus." Dorian is pulling on a robe as he's sitting on the edge of the bed. Oliver is barely awake, laying on his stomach under a quilt. His hair is a mess, his face buried into the pillow he's hugging. Dorian gives a little pat on the other man's butt."'Rise and shine', as you people say." Oliver groans. "Where's my robe?" He mumbles into his pillow. "Not the faintest idea," Dorian replies. Oliver lifts his head up, still barely awake. "Inquisitor demands his robe!" He exclaims. Dorian has already gotten up, and is rolling his eyes in amusement. "Oh, so now it's Lord Herald Inquisitor..." He teases, not seeming to take Oliver's over the top request seriously.

A photo of a crocheted Varric (Dragon Age--specifically Inquisition, in the case of his outfit here) standing outside. The ground has leaves, pine needles, and some greenery peeking up from the soil. Behind him is the branch of a pine tree. Varric was worked up from my own personal base pattern with all details freehanded. He took about 75 hours of work to make, from start to finish. The ami is 15 inches (38cm) tall and crocheted with acrylic yarn. His hair is brushed yarn that is latched and needle-felted into place (as well as tied up in the back into a short ponytail. His eyebrows and eyes are also needle felted, while his chest hair is embroidered. His tunic is red with silver embroidery. Around his neck is a silver necklace with a ring hanging from it, and his right ear has a hoop and a cuff, while his left ear has only a hoop (all jewelry crocheted). His trousers are grey, and his boots and gloves are dark brown, with lighter brown on the boot cuffs and down the front of the boots (and black soles at the bottom of the boots. His face is detailed using a few techniques and mediums, including soft sculpting, needle felting, chalk pastels, and fabric marker (for the stubble). Varric is stuffed VERY firmly with polyfil (so much polyfil) and his arms are wired so he can be (slightly) posed. He can stand on his own on flat, even surfaces (though in this image, he has support).
The same Varric ami from the previous image, but viewed from his left side in profile (in unfortunately poor lighting, but we work with what we have).
🧶 Varric (DAI) ami! Crocheted from acrylic yarn with needle-felted details (more info in alt text), he has wired arms for light posing—mostly at the wrists and elbows—and stands 15" (38cm) tall.
