Photo of 6 thumbnails drawn with ballpoint pen on white copy paper. The thumbnails show a female character in a gown, some roses, car. It’s an evolving idea. 🤗
Off to the races once again! Already working on the new Drawn To Music illustration. This song has been a bit tricky to visualize.
I did these yesterday but I feel like I need to do 6 more.
Can you guess the song? Got any song you’d like for me to draw?

I’m really happy with how this piece turned out. It is my interpretation of the song “Adrenalize” by In This Moment.
It such an incredibly charged song and Maria Brinks kills it in it.
This is on a 9x12”(22.9x30.5cm) 184lbs Strathmore mixed media paper. Done w/ Dr. Ph. Martin inks.

Finally done with my latest Drawn To Music piece and I love it. The song I had to interpret was Adrenalize by In This Moment. Let me tell you, that song is PACKED with energy. Here’s the progression.
It’s provocative but tasteful.

See the full version of this down below. It’s a short clip showing the progression of this piece up to this point.
It’s not lewd but it is suggestive. It’s for a series I’m doing, Drawn to Music. I get songs recommended to me and I draw an interpretation.
Can you guess this song?

Making some progress on this piece. Slowly building the lighting to where I want it. Eventually, there will be some darker shadows.

A free and automatic sketch in black ink and pencil on a white page in a notebook. Drawn to 'nothing to dread' by Claire Rousay & Gretchen Korsmo. I used to draw a lot to music before and during the COVID pandemic and I'm slowly making it part of my routine again.
