As I tried to sleep, I ran my fingers Along your skin, In memories Born of desire And desires Fueled by memories, Reaching Across the empty bed To hold The ghost of you In moonlight darkness. I pressed My dream lips Against your invisible skin, Tasting Your shivers And feeling The tiny bumps Of pleasure Rising up Across your body To meet my touch, Before evaporating In the cruelty Of sunrise.
