SPOKANE CALL TO ACTION

Today are hearings for 6/11 ICE Protest arrestees. To show your support, please come to the courthouse at 1:30.

We are still demanding prosecutors #DropAllCharges. Call your electeds to apply pressure.

That same day they got detained they met Redacted. He got put on the same block as Joswar. His attorney dropped his Case out of no where and left him with no contacts or even telling his wife where he was at. Joswar called and asked me to call Redacted's wife's work to let her know he was being detained in Tacoma. I was able to get a hold of her and pass on the message to her and I got the phone number and I gave it to Joswar to give to the gentleman. I'm happy to announce they have now communicated and are in communication, all thanks to Joswar and Cesar for helping them out. The wife is going to Latinos [en Spokane] tomorrow and I'm going to help her create an account and deposit money so they can communicate and provide resources for her in Spokane.

Latinos en Spokane is doing a lot of leg work and overtime working with the information Cesar and Randy are giving about the others (I could only post 4 pics per comment and this part of the update wasn't previously included).

They are in Tacoma. The conditions are inhumane, but they are striving to be hopeful.

They are heartened by Spokane community's turnout 6/11.

They are not the only ones needing our help—others incarcerated can't contact their loved ones.
