7/9 Sensitivity stems from Musk's dual role. As Trump adviser & DOGE head, he's slashed federal budgets and jobs, with 50,000-60,000 civilian defence positions set to be cut. Yet his companies Tesla & SpaceX have significant interests in both China & Pentagon contracts.
