I'm in love with kieu's art and comic, Dust n' Dread, and had to draw these lovely characters.

Clayton, a gray skinned revenant with a prominent scar across his nose sits on a bench looking down at Holt, a disheveled man who refuses to just eat the damn beans!!! Clayton is framed with the silhouette of a centipede, Holt with a spectre related to his lycanthropy. Also there's some sort of lizard on the right, she seems like she can be trusted with trains!!

🕯️Been wanting to make fanart of @leslekieuart.bsky.social 's webcomic DUST N' DREAD for a while! The ending of Quintessence still haunts me!!

Thankfully the author started a #DustnDreadDTIYS so I finally got the excuse to make something!

Holt curls up clutching himself oh the floor. He has fluffy wild brown hair and a horrified grimace on his face as he looks over his companion’s shoulder. A larger square faced pale man with short spikey black hair that has one tuft of white in it tries to put a reassuring hand on Holt. Clayton is wearing a dark vest and pants with nice boots. Behind him something only Holt can see - a lanky lean twisted red and black beast crawling down from the ceiling. One large aberrant eye pierces across to stare at Holt. The boys sit in a white background.

I made this with traditional pen and ink. Sadly, I got a big splotch of black ink right on a characters face so things turned out messy. I still enjoyed this challenge. Dust and Dread is an amazing comic with great story telling and art so I am glad I found the time to participate.
