Temperature, workplace safety, and labor market inequality This working paper examines environmental externalities in the workplace and finds that increased temperatures exasperate labor market inequality.

Research from #EGgrantee Jisung Park was cited in Sen. Padilla's release, highlighting how temperature and workplace safety impact labor market inequality. Findings show hotter temperatures increase workplace injuries significantly, causing ~20,000 injuries/year.
