I once staggered down Princess Street in #Edinburgh with #BrianDePalma after a party. We ended up at a private club where he quizzed me about the films I'd seen during the #EIFF. He said he was the only film director who attended festivals AND saw all the films too. Not sure if that's true but ok.

Our first and probably only visit to the Edinburgh International Film Festival this year to see the British Premier of Christy, "An emotional, authentic and community-driven Irish film as witty as it is tender."

I've been to a couple of #EIFF films so far - Ben Wheatley's BULK, an odd and engaging sci fi loophole-y adventure, which I loved, and then last night Surviving Earth, a beautiful but sad film about a Yugoslavian musician trying to make his life better. Tonight is The Golden Spurtle!
