Photo of organizing committee volunteers in One Dynamic Earth pavilion at ESfS 2025 exhibition: Hunter Brett, Renu Sahota, Julia Davison, Pam Pribilovic, Laurie McGhie Are you a passionate and enthusiastic geoscience volunteer and would like to increase your involvement in a fun and rewarding initiative? The ESfS team has started planning for a successful event in 2026 and we are looking for committee volunteers to deliver the program. Next year’s Earth Science for Society (ESfS) Exhibition will take place March 15-17, 2026, in Calgary. Each committee has different volunteer needs over the March exhibition time and throughout the year. The general expectation is that a volunteer will provide about 1 hour per week, attend the March exhibition and stay until at least April 2026 for the post-event review. There are opportunities to take on Vice-Chair roles, or as general committee members. We meet via Zoom on the 4th Tuesday of every month 12 noon – 1 pm MT. The greatest need is with Marketing. There are also positions open on the committees for: Volunteers, Venue & Logistics, Exhibits, Budget & Finance, ESfS in Motion, and Program Delivery.
