I had the pleasure of participating at the #EUIA25 Conference in Brussels in late May, where I presented my latest research on China-EU relations and the role of the European parliament. Looking forward to continuing this conversation further!
Had a packed week at #EUIA25: presented my work on EU (in)security in post-2020 Armenia (coming soon @jcms-eu.bsky.social -stay tuned!) & discussed brilliant papers by @dfuturevub.bsky.social colleagues. We also stood in solidarity with Gaza & against academic complicity in the ongoing genocide.
Last week, I presented a working chapter of my PhD at #EUIA25 hosted by Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Shared early insights on the EU’s shift from food security to food sovereignty narratives during two #crisis moments.
So much #foodforthought to explore further in the thesis!
CSDS and CSS at ETH Zurich co-hosted a panel discussion marking the launch of CSS’ "Strategic Trends 2025". As part of #EUIA25, the discussion offered a forward-looking analysis of emerging geopolitical dynamics and their implications for European security.

Great being at #EUIA25 today to serve as chair/discussant for a set of excellent papers by Federica Fazio, Ricardo Pereira and Davide Genini from Dublin City University! The papers focused on Article 42.7 TEU, the EDTIB and gaming to radicalise. Great work!
