Photo is of Libby, a homeless deaf cat I rescued. The vet removed what looked like rocks from her ears, but it was solidified mass from ear infections. We had hoped she might regain some of her hearing but sadly, no. She had lots of other health problems too from years of neglect, plus stunted growth. She was the size of an adolescent cat but was estimated to be about 10 years old from dental examination. We kept battling all her issues, one after the other, and she was a trooper through it all. Such a loving little girl that I’ll always miss. We were able to have 18 months together. She finally knew what it felt like to be loved and cared for. She passed peacefully in my arms. 💕
