To mark yesterday's #EconomicAbuseAwarenessDay @seacharity.bsky.social released critical research on how domestic abusers are controlling the money & belongings of women, preventing nearly a quarter of victim-survivors from leaving a dangerous partner - equivalent to almost 1 million women.

Nearly 1 million UK women were prevented from leaving a dangerous partner because of economic abuse in the past 12 months.
