Designed after a Dung Beetle, Dunymph is seen rolling a ball (assumedly dung) and the background resembles a savannah with cliffs.

Also based off of a dung beetle, but able to hold the balls in its claw and some on its back, Dunosect is significantly larger than Dunymph and has a more upright stance with its front legs being quite large to keep it balanced. The background represents a holo effect like that you would see on a card.

Somehow managed to segue at a business dinner event last night, from a conversation about quizzes, to Pokémon TCG, to showing off my Elestrals decks to some former* tcg players. Their excitement at learning it was the Greek pantheon was great.

I've been told it plays a lot like Yu-Gi-Oh, with a friend telling me I should play a Switch game with its tutorial, as I'll "definitely pick it up" by doing that.

I might give that a go. Also might mean current Yu-Gi-Oh players could enjoy playing Elestrals too.

It's not even that the game is difficult (it's not), I just struggle with processing sometimes.

In one game, how these would work confused me, so I took to the official Discord for help.

They were great and explained about recalculations. I'd read the site & still missed that bit 😆

Had fun with this! I'm more used to MTG, so ascending/casting doesn't feel super familiar & is taking some learning.

Maybe it's me, maybe it's the wording, but once something clicked it was an "ohhhh" moment.
