#Elfno And with that, we got to watch the true ending! The 3 friends were reunited at last and set off on their own adventure together. They had a nice list of what happened to all of our characters while it played that singing song that Shaw enjoys. We are officially done with this incredible game

And I refused to take the rune, even when Jowy looked like he was in pain

Yay! We had all 108 so that guarantees the good ending at this point

Nanami was still alive!

#Elfno We had a final duel against Jowy... and I refused to attack him, defending every turn instead. When he tried to give me his rune, I also refused every time. And because of this, we officially got the good ending! YAY!! We found out that Nanami was still alive after all!

We said we wanted to stay for Jowy instead of escaping and Kasumi did not like that!

Yaaaay! Rina and her troop were the first to greet us!

Viktor and Flik knew that we were leaving instead of going to the meeting room for the normal ending

#Elfno Our team was very strong so the battle was not too bad. We unleashed our strongest runes and defeated it. The castle was falling down as we came out and reunited with everyone. Back at base, Shu wanted to talk to us... but instead we left to go confront Jowy in our hometown at the X mark

Jillia seemed to know his plan all along, but at least it meant that her and Pilika could escape

Gah! We are still fighting Luca Blight even after he is dead

Kasumi was able to pick up this giant beast and slam it to the ground! Yay!

#Elfno YAY! WE HAVE FINALLY BEATEN IT! We started with a battle against Culgan and Seed. They were actually a bit tough and killed a few of us. Then Jowy told Jillia and Pilika to run away as we took on the final boss - the Beast Rune that destroyed Muse!

#Elfno This game was an enjoyable old style RPG. I just got a lifeboat from the king and headed off to the new area. I got to change classes in the career center and then I did a series of battles in the coliseum area. I made Elftress cook us some steak and then the entire game crashed unfortunately

Yaaay! Mr Bailey, Squidwik, and Elftress were all on my team. I wish I could change the mustache man's name as well

The king was obsessed with salt because it scares away snails

YAY! I MET LUFFY! He gave me a fishing rod so I could collect fish for Elftress to throw at enemies

This battle was very difficult until I threw salt at her

#Elfno Yay! I played #ASnailTale which felt like a comedy version of FF5 with the class system. The king got rich by making a deal with the devil and now he has a snail named Jeremy chasing him so we have to go collect crystals to fight it. There were interesting classes like fisherman and oilist

Jowy and his minions decided to just abandon Lucia since her people are from a different tribe. That is very disgraceful, Seed!

These giant monsters were all over Muse!

Oh... it sounds like everyone was sacrificed by the Beast Rune. I wonder if this is related to the first game

Oh! We recruited Piko. He is even a musician! But he is also cheating on his girlfriend so that sounds very bad of him...

#Elfno Apple decided that we should attack Muse while Highland was busy so we had a tactics battle with Lucia. When we got inside, the city was taken over by yellow beasts! I guess all of the citizens were already sacrificed... Afterwards I traveled to recruit Pico and Jude. We almost have everyone!

The angle of the camera during these cities battles was very interesting

Yuber seems very mysterious. It sounds like he is in some of the other games as well!

Oh no... the Matilda Knights were very useless after all...

This was a very emotional scene, with our runes glowing on our hands! Jowy said that things will never go back to the way they were...

#Elfno I started with an attack on Greenhill where we encountered a strange demonic knight named Yuber. He summoned a giant bone dragon to attack us! After we beat them, we ran into Jowy in the forest. We gave us one last chance to run, but we are officially enemies now

Culgan met up with us and said that KING Jowy wanted to offer a peace agreement

None of our advisors seemed to trust this offering... for good reason

Jowy is going to be the final boss, I can just feel it. He is not the man he used to be

She actually talked again! She went to stay with Jowy, which is good in my opinion. She was getting very annoying

#Elfno In the story, we got a visit from Culgan who delivered a letter from the new king... Jowy! We met with him to finally negotiate a peace agreement with Luca gone. But it seems Jowy is evil now and insisted that we surrender. We said no and left, but Pilika stayed behind (which I do not mind).

This man was telling all sorts of stories in the bar, trying to pretend he was Thing. It was very similar to the fake Luffy in Saobody

We recruited Lebrante so we can get our antiques appraised at Shelt128 now!

I was very tempted to force this annoying man to bark like a dog but we are trying to recruit all 108 characters for the good ending...

The dancing minigame was a bit hard but I beat it on the second try

#Elfno I recruited a lot of new characters in Radat! First there was the imposter Hoi, then Lebrante the antiques dealer, then a strange man named Simone. We got Karen after beating her in a dance competition, and lastly I got Bob the werewolf. We have over 80 characters!

#Elfno I have beaten #SlayTheSpire! It took a few tries but I was eventually able to beat it with Defect the orb casting robot. I had so many spell orbs by the end that the Donut man was not even that hard! I liked the Poison Mage as well but Defect was much stronger. Yaaay Saosin family campfire!

We got a Blinking Mirror key item that will let us teleport to different cities from the map! This is going to be very useful!! YAAAY

We chose Kasumi over Valeria since she seemed to have more interesting abilities and story events

I finally won one of these cooking challenges! Yaaay~! Hai Yo's competitor talked about some sort of clan when he lost and then disappeared

Radat Town is under occupation by these soldiers so I could not go in to recruit all of the characters there...

#Elfno We got to choose whether we would rather recruit Kasumi or Valeria in the story! All 4 of us voted for Kasumi who is an interesting sounding ninja. Our castle also upgraded to lvl 3! I wanted to recruit some new characters in Radat Town, but the Highland army is currently occupying it...

#Elfno I started my turn by wandering the Toran capital city before speaking with the president. I did some recruiting, then talked to him about RED MOON!!! It seems they got their freedom, then Lepant became president even though they wanted the Suikoden 1 hero instead

That is a very strange request, Jowy. I guess he must have fell in love with Jillia that time that he and Thing hid inside of her tent. That or he has a different plan

I was able to equip Viki with a rune on her head that gave her this very good ability that looks similar to Odin from Final Fantasy!

This man did not seem to think very highly of us. I do not think he will be a very good ally

We almost had to do another tactics battle, but instead Luca just killed all of the refugees before we could even get there. Miklotov did not like that his commander made him stay behind the wall, so now he is going off on his own and we must follow him

#Elfno We saw a scene where Jowy requested that Princess Jillia be his new wife! I do not know what he is planning but it seems very strange. Eventually we made it to Matilda and met Gordeau and his knights. He did not like us very much and made Miklotov stand there and watch the refugees get killed

Now we can buy and attach runes right in our own castle! That will be convenient

This was a very easy side quest. We just had to talk to 3 sheep. I do not know if she is any good because I did not care about trying her afterwards

I went into the kitchen and a chef appeared and randomly challenged Hai Yo to a cooking competition! We ended up getting a tie score but they decided to let Yu Kum the challenger win instead of us...

Viki gives us the ability to teleport to cities we have been before!! She also seems like a very good new magic user for the team. She has an ability that can teleport away the enemies instantly

#Elfno we are back to playing Suikoden! I spent a lot of time getting reacquainted with our HQ and trying out new facilities there. I also recruited Jeane the rune seller, Yuzu the sheep farmer, and Viki the teleporter. Viki can equip a head rune so I added her to the team

#Elfno I played a much more fun rogue card game called #SlayTheSpire I got to build my deck with new cards after each fight, with occasional rests at the Saosin Family Camp Fire. I threw a shield card into the fire but it did nothing. Then I challenged the boss and beat him with 12 health left. YAAY

#Elfno I tried to play #Castlebound with Ralphie but I guess the co-op didn't work yet. It had Molee controls with the bow & arrow so it was like I was being Zelda! I used the Ultimate Smash move to kill the ghosts, but they still took over my castle in the second level. I was going for the shop

This man randomly showed up in our kitchen, so we gave him a job. It seems we can set our own menu now, but we need to get ingredients somehow

She was acting very suspicious when trying to get through the gate. She said she was on an adventure thanks for her master

Gah! He has a very strange design! And he talks very much like Zitca

We recruited this martial artist in Forest Village. I added her to our team and she seems very good in the front row

#Elfno I finally recruited Clive the mysterious gunman. Then we hired Hai Yo to be our new cook. I encountered Meg and her Zitca-style barrel robot at the Muse border. And then I recruited Wakaba and Tony in the Forest Village. We have expanded our team a lot in a short time!

We finally got the stolen money back! Now I can afford to buy upgrades again

We had to go to the Kobold District to buy tacos that get us toasty. It makes a strange smoke come out of our heads

Oh no.... we never run from battles so this is going to take a long time to complete

We have our own bath house now, thanks to Tetsu! I brought a chick in there by equipping it. That was a very strange item

#Elfno I did not have much story on my turn. It was instead focused on recruiting new characters. Makai fired Flitcher and told him to go with us, then Chaco asked to join us on the way out. I got toasty from tacos in Kobold District and recruited Tetsu the bath maker!

Apple was very desperate to recruit Shu. She even got on her knees and begged him in the tavern

We had to fight this strange man named Amada in order to close the sluice gate and search for the coin. I won on my first try!

Richmond the Detective helped us out along the way. I think he may have been responsible for some kind of trick involving that coin because he had this very intense scene on the bridge after we found it

#Elfno We went to Radat Town to try and recruit Apple's former classmate Shu. He was VERY hesitant to join us and said he does not care who wins the war. After begging him, he agreed to help if we could find a coin in the river. Thing managed to find it so Shu had to join!

#Elfno And then, the betrayal! First Viktor drank wine with Anabelle and she suggested being his girlfriend. But when it was time for our meeting with her afterwards, Jowy snuck in and attacked her with a knife! He was acting strange and talking to a ninja before so it seems he has fully betrayed us

Gojo has already went to Greenhill when he was wandering around! The others are all new places though

The leaders in here did not seem to agree very well. As Nanami said, "it was a bunch of old grumps arguing"

We recruited Gilbert by attacking him! The CPU just attacked him automatically and he joined so I do not know how we missed him in our previous playthrough

#Elfno I have had a very eventful turn! First we got invited to the Jowston Hill mayor convention to discuss what the city states will do to stop Luca. No one wanted to help Anabelle defend Muse. So we had a tactics battle to slow them down and recruited Gilbert! (Cont.)

I actually lost this battle the first time. It was like rock-paper-scissors

Even though I did well at the tactics battle, it still said we lost

Pohl was cut down by Luca's sword right in front of Pilika!

#Elfno I had a very eventful turn (that lasted 2 days). I recruited Hanna in Toto and then Tsai to prepare for the Highland invasion. Luca burned Ryube and the Fort. Flik let me join his team after dueling him. Then we did some tactics battles and escaped from Luca again.

#Elfno My turn felt very short. I guess I have gotten a lot better at battling since last time. Once again, I mostly fought monsters in the mountains with the traveling dancers (they are the best!) I beat the Mist Monster and then parted ways with them in Kyaro Town

#Elfno I played #TwilightMonk and I enjoyed it very much. It had a nice hand drawn art style. I think Punchy would enjoy all of the ninja style things in this game. Our master was very weird and talked strangely, but the game seems fun. I just got the bestiary so I am going to start finding monsters

#Elfno We had a very bad experience playing #KaijuWars It said the game was 2P but #Kai just had to watch while I clicked through menus and watched old horror movies. At least I got to tell the Commander to call me Student of Elftress as my title!

I was able to hit all of the runners in one shot!

It was very difficult to sneak around this base. I could not figure out how to properly use my weapons, so I just ran from all of the enemies.

Yaaay! Barrel throwing! This was a very efficient way to beat lots of soldiers

I managed to save Huxley after he was captured!

#Elfno I played #CyberOwls which was the very last game in #UFO50! There were 4 different OWLS who all controlled very differently. I liked Huxley the motorcycle rider the best. After he was captured, I managed to rescue him from prison by doing the strange turned base strategy minigame

#Elfno I tried the demo of #FantasyBoy and got to use THE ELF SWORD! The controls were a bit stiff and slow to use, but I liked the hand drawn animation style very much. It was also interesting how you turn into a skeleton when you die and get to keep playing, searching for souls
