Alright, I would've read this even in the middle of a summer heat wave because anytime is a good time for a hockey romance. Am I right? 😉 Anastasia (Stas, Stassie, Annie) Allen and Nathaniel (Nathan, Nate) Hawkins are aggravating, steamy, and well matched. Yes, they both drive me a little cuckoo with their stubbornness and other delightful traits, but they have big hearts that shine through on multiple occasions. In addition, they are mostly good for each other. A time or two, it is questionable if I'm being honest. -- Book quote “Are you ever going to forgive me?” I ask hopefully. “I told you, you’re on probation.” Raking a hand through my hair, the groan that slips out is pure frustration. “That isn’t a yes. One thing I love about Nate is how he sees her idiosyncrasies with her planner, and instead of making fun of them, he finds solutions that work within them. It's endearing and gets him plenty of brownie points. I LOVE their friends. I want to be added to the Puckbunnies chat in the worst way. They are so freaking entertaining! There are a couple of shady people in their lives. Fine, maybe shady isn't the best word, but they're definitely toxic. I feel like things with the family member needed a little more development.
