Page 027 of the Kirby Art and Style Collection Artbook depicts 2 giant Grab Hands, Bandana Waddle Dee, Elline and our dear Kirby! The game is a sequel/successor to the 2005 game Kirby: Canvas Curse for the Nintendo DS, featuring similar mechanics and gameplay, but rather than centering around a painted art style, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse uses a clay motif instead. The goal is for Kirby to traverse through stages through the use of rainbow ropes in order to reach a goal. Kirby can ride on rainbow ropes made of clay, much like the rainbow paint lines in Kirby: Canvas Curse. Elline's goal is to restore colour to Planet Popstar after it is drained of colour. She can turn into a Rainbow Paintbrush (Also known as Power Paintbrush) This game is also an example of difference in regional names, as it has two Western Titles. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, then Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush! As you can see, a similar regional convention was taken from the game that previously played in a similar manner!

These are indeed just called Grab Hands, and belong to the main antagonist of the game! Grab Hands only appear in multiplayer mode. At certain points in most stages, a bouncy purple border surrounds the screen when Grab Hands enter. When this occurs, Kirby is defenseless—they cannot harm the opponents. A Grab Hand's goal is to seize Kirby and drag them off-screen; if this happens, Kirby is KO'd. Only Bandana Waddle Dee's spear attacks can damage Grab Hands. Each hand takes around 2-3 hits to defeat unless he defeats it in one hit with a super jab. Grab Hand is also able to grab and toss the Waddle Dee aside when needed. (Wikirby.com)

I never played Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, and that's for obvious reasons, who had a Wii U? also i never really had a game console until 2022 of Christmas, and a 2DS on my birthday around 2017 I think? but All I can do is just to spread this drawing to the wiki because celebration! (also I need to draw Kirby) This isn't my first time drawing Elline since I drew her in Kirbtober (I should release that by now) but I don't enjoy drawing her hair, but I'm glad that I drew her again, especially since she was one of the helpers in Road Trip Mode in Kirby Air Riders, making her psyhical appearance after Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, also her wings are apparently cyan and pink and not just pink, so I had to do that. But what is my first time drawing someone is Claycia. Claycia is... actually i'm not sure what to say, she's just kinda uninteresting as a Kirby character in my opinion, and due to her only appearance being Kirby Rainbow Curse, yeah i'm not going to be that interested with her. But she does appear in the Kirby Light Novels where I feel like she does more than what she does in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, as for her skin, I actually not sure what her skin tone is, so it's sorta pale but still enough to make it the usual color. she's kinda easy to draw compare to Elline though. And that's all I have for now, still working on the Sonic Drawings, just give me a few breaks to do so, until then, I hope y'all have a good one and I'll see y'all next time.
