The Hazel Reeves bronze statue of Emmeline Pankhurst called Rise Up, Women - in St Peter's Square, Manchester. Unveiled in 2018 on the centenary of the 1918 election where women over 30 could vote for the first time. Her activism as Suffragette leader saw equal voting rights granted in 1928 just after she died

Sadly she died on June 14th 1928 just over 2 weeks before Women were granted equal voting rights
