Fossil gas was once labelled a « transition fuel » in an attempt to hide the truth that there is no such thing as energy transition, but rather an accumulation of new sources. Natural Gas supplies a quarter of total global energy demand and is one of the fastest growing energy markets. This market is part of the capitalist-imperialist system that prompts countries to exploit, subjugate, occupy, dominate and invade other countries, geographies and peoples. The gas market, like other energy markets, fuels and perpetuates racial capitalism; a system that grows and accumulates capital for racially « superior » profiteers at the expense of exploitation of other « devalued/surplus » population. This is exactly what we aim to understand, map and investigate in this event. The panel is in collaboration with comrades from  @wesmellgas @disruptpower.ps  @afoa.cy  and  @netzwerkwedding
