Around his neck is a teardrop shaped gemstone that matches the eye colour of the woman beside him. The characters pictured are Ethel and Marcus. Ethel is my character in my curse of strahd campaign, and is a warforged built to look like the real Ethel who passed away. The reason she's dressed so stuffy in summer is because she has joints like a ball jointed doll that need to be kept hidden to maintain the ruse.
