Harvest. It amazes me just how much rice is grown in Nepal, and that most of it is planted and harvested by hand. Immense labor goes into these grains. I hate to waste rice at dinner, having seen how hard families work to grow it.

Composition is often tackled by jamming in as much as you can. Trying to do everything in a single frame. I prefer to step back from that, and allow for the quiet moments to take over my creative focus. One frame at a time.

Last time I travelled through Nepal my widest lens was only 24mm. I didn't allow that mistake to happen twice!
I have three lenses on me at all times this month, the 18mm F1.8, 35mm F1.8 and a 100mm macro. 18mm is me fave :)
