Some of my first drawings of Malie, I kept the braid and the short hair but the outfits and her personality have changed a bit I think. If you notice early on, I drew her having the deer with wings (necklace, art on armor) but I decided to get rid of that as it felt too regal and I just didn’t want that for her :) it did end up being a deciding factor to have her be from the Leicester Alliance.

Here’s where I really started to “find” Malie, I leaned in towards the landscaping job and how she would be dressed and equipped from that. I almost never draw her with gardening shears or the bag anymore, but they’re supposed to be there. I go back and forth on her cutting her hair before the time skip still.

More Malie development! Started finding her interests, and really trying to find her design. Also some sketches of trying to draw her in the fe3h style.
