Ford’s embarrassing admission brings to mind those fake online ads claiming that a famous politician or newscaster has been caught on tape confessing to a bizarre secret. All too true in Ford’s case.

To be sure, Canada needs every bit of help. But not hype from someone on the hustings #FakeFord
