Never allow any relative to try and exploit or manipulate you using the phrase "But we're family" or "Family comes first." That is pure bullshit. It is an invitation to trample your personal boundaries, rights, and space. Real family is considerate, kind, and understanding. Real family would never try to coerce a relative through such means.
