My beautiful little zine from the #fandommarket by @lumiilys.bsky.social arrived today!
lil guys! 3 tiny crochet friends of varying aquatic species, sitting in a bed of purple periwinkles. Clockwise from the top are Periwinkle, Ace, And Violet. Are they just named after the colors of the yarn they were made from? Yes. Look, I've had the same screen name since 1993. I'm not good at coming up with names for things.
A fabric bookmark, printed with mermen. Also, two yellow daffodils, because the bookmark looked lonely just...sitting there by itself. I was trying for artsy photography?
A lovely, hand woven lanyard, attached to a badge. The lanyard is in a GentleBeard colorway, and is gorgeous.
Gorgeous butterfly print and stickers, and a cross stitch piece that says "You must outlive them to dance on their graves."

Went to visit friends for a week and came home to this lovely treasure haul from the #fandommarket, like coming home to a warm hug and a bowl of soup. Love y'all so much!

The dominant stitch is a half-double crochet (also known as an "HDC") that alternates between a regular HDC and a "back-loop only" (or "BLO") HDC. The effect is to create an overall sort of chain mail look. The occasional row of only BLO creates a line that looks like knit stitches turned sides to circle around the circumference of the beanie.
