I love The Pitt and the thing I want now more than ever from it is a spin-off of the night shift. They seem so competent AND chill you want Dr. Robby to switch with Dr. Abott for even one shift, just so Dr. Robby can get a sense of calm back in his life.

I love how The Pitt has subtly but effectively said what needs to be said about the health insurance crisis, anti-vax madness and "free birth" insanity. All while celebrating science. Bravo.

I never saw ER but watched The Librarian and then Falling Skies ans Leverage Redemption. Haven't seen the Pitt yet, still need to, but Wyle is great and every interview I hear from him the more I think he really gets it.
Also I miss Leverage.

Watched The Pitt finale and Hacks E2 tonight and I think Noah Wyle and Jean Smart are both going straight back to the Emmy stage. Also, I cried once per show. It's very hot in NYC right now and I am labile.

Honestly I really liked season 2 of the Pitt, but also I don't... like I just don't think character development is the point of this show. I think this is not about character arcs. It's about putting people in a blender and seeing the giblets go.

My final thought about the Pitt. I’m only this critical because it is (was?) my favorite TV show. Seems like other people share my feelings so maybe the character development next season will improve, especially for the women.
