The wrens are back! Every year a pair chooses one of our ceramic birdhouses to raise their babies. Today I peeked inside and found eggs. Fingers crossed for a healthy hatch in a couple of weeks.

Shocker of a photo but a moment forever etched in my mind. Tall, bushy hedges, large blocks of tailored bird seed & cultivated areas seeing this mainly brambling flock of 300+ through the hungry gap.
