His body felt soaked with something, most likely tears and Nightmare's corruption, but it wasn't entirely unsettling. The brother rested their head eventually on the others shoulder, tears falling and voice small still.* "You, when I found you after you left you were so sure. Sure I was dead. I was confused. Your new friends told you I was gone, doing terrible things. It hurt so much when you never asked me why I was doing those things to the aus. You just accepted I was so bad now, a villain like the villagers did. I tried, I tried so hard to keep up your charade of assumptions when you refused to listen. But I can't stand it. It's still me brother, I never left. Why did you refuse to accept that? Accept I was both at once?"

The moment Blossom awoke in Dreams innerworld was quite an eventful one. He formed the first time Night didn't make it in time to help out his brother.
(Dont worry about the notes around lil baby Dream, nor their color)

Top half while hard to tell is meant to be Dream sans holding a kindness soul they had been actively maiming. Lingering negativity running through them as well as a spike in LV, showing in their now long claws and pointed overgrown teeth. Purple eyelights look down at, what would've been Error, but all I've drawn is a sketchy bust. this scene was initally meant for chp. 16, before he changed into an outfit as Error had stepped out. Broken blue strings on his wrist also prevalent of that. I moved it to chapter 17 as it felt like I was cramming the moment and making the pacing feel weird because of it.

Think I'll finish this but it may take a bit. So have the WIP based off the chp. I just dropped!
Sucking in a breath through his teeth he winced, going closer to the prepped IV bag with a small medical cart and vitals machine that hadn’t originally been in the room before. It was tucked off to the side next to the nightstand, clear labels and notes indicating what everything thing did and how often stuff should be done all in red sharpie. *That* was why Blue was off with Red. He knew that handwriting well enough anywhere. Fuck, he knew it looked bad but he didn’t think it was so awful Dream needed all this. Reading some of the instructions he can see the transfusion was set up to be used in a few days. Glancing down to the nightstand, more notes covered the desk. A pill counter similar to Error’s own with a few of the slots emptied, one of several Blue’s water bottles next to the clock with a note saying it needed to be drank for when Dream woke up in the Swap’s handwriting. Above it looked like some sheets of physical therapy exercises and some list of what all the god should take and when. There also seemed to be a note saying Blue was going to be off AU a few days while Dream recovered, though it was hard to read torn in two with holes along the edges.
Remember in chp. 15 Blue assumed it'll be fine if Dreams alone? Wellll-
