Just watched GOJIRA, a Japanese language film (1954) a.k.a. GODZILLA.

Much better than I expected. Good special effects for the time and a strong post-WWII metaphor for nuclear destruction.

Good seeing Takashi Shimura (SEVEN SAMURAI, RASHOMON) in it.
