New common blackbird unlocked! This will be named Chaotic-Bleble! I heard demo of his song few days ago and today heard him much more at 5am. Named after a "jubilaa-bleble" part he did while singing! Amazing how much louder they are at mornings. #birds #flackoweasel

They are daily visits (unless weather is shit) so I can get parts of theit singing each day, as sometimes blackbird sings 20 min and leaves. Other time sings 3 min and leaves. #birds #FlackoWeasel #birdsong

This is how I tell two blackbirds apart, it is quite easy actually.
1. blackbird is Bilibo
2. 2nd blackbird is named Voretta, at 00:21

Remember some unique parts on each bird what stood out, then you can do match 2 pair game where you check "Did bird do this✅ and this✅ sound?" #birds #FlackoWeasel

Met Kibilo on 10th march - still shy with singing, but this time got around 2 meters close to him! He sounds loud from Tascam, but he itself doesn't sing at 100% volume yet! I heard new blackbird when heading home. Can't wait to hear new blackbird song pattern! #Birds #FlackoWeasel

Kibilo is still very shy, whisper singing at first and then putting more volume. He has been singing since 5th March and I visit him everyday to see how his song is going and to spot other blackbirds appearing! I always find him by the "I'm a barbie girl" melody #birds #FlackoWeasel

Kibilo flew there after sparkling and 3 of em stood like this for many minutes and then left. Only sound i heard was the "srrit!"

4th day and like a clockwork, Kibilo is there! This time he activated 16:42. Sung until 18:00 then started sparkling and then he had some land talk with other blackbirds and the singing time was over today. He sung MUCH lower today too but he still was singing at 40% volume #birds #FlackoWeasel

Unique parts on Kibilo in 2026! When I hear these ones, I know ASAP it is the same bird! This is how I am able to ID each blackbird by a song, I put aside unique parts and remember them :). When I hear bird do IRL specific amount of em, its same one! #birds #Commonblackbirds #FlackoWeasel

The furry tufts I self made as I needed wind shields. I made these for each on my Tascam as well and it has saved MANy recordings. Wind 5m/s and having the furry thing on saved a recording! I remember I rushed home and sewed 2 of them ASAP when I realised wind was stronger. #birds #FlackoWeasel

Looks like its not accidental at all! This "barbie girl" melody is in the blackbird song pattern, he uses it often! OMG so happy I have finally found my own "Barbie thrush!" Daily visiting him!

BB always seem to sparkle VERY early during singing season. I haven't found info why it is so. Being obsessed at blackbirds I have noticed this behavior each year since 2023! And its ALWAYS when the breeding season is about to start. They make MANy bizarre NES like sounds #birds #FlackoWeasel
