My original characters for Forbidden Desert, based on the names that are on the game’s otherwise non-descript character cards: Left to right: archaeologist, meteorologist, climber, explorer (he’s a goblin hehe), navigator, and water carrier. In total, it was about 10 hours of active work time to craft this set. I sold my personal copy of these last year rather than forcing the customer to wait several weeks for duplicates to be sculpted and shipped overseas, so I am glad to finally replace them! I will however be posting this personal set on Etsy again, so if you love them enough to want to pay for my time, they’re available. May also add them to Mayhem Marketplace at a lower cost if there’s interest (Mayhem allows me to remove Etsy’s cut from the pricing)
Painting the finishing touches on the climber (the mountain on the t-shirt, and the silver finish on the climbing pick)
Using a UV lamp to cure the resin for the Water Carrier character. Additionally I have made wells and small individual water buckets for each character to go along with her theme. If you’d love to see those, let me know!
It’s Friday, which means that it’s time to put the finishing touches on an incomplete project and show it off!
