Behind me traffic was heading north and south in a great hurry. In front of me these small flowers had slowly unfurled as the seasons began to change. They have a different rhythm to us.

A "ruined" folly built for a garden that once stood here, now an actual ruin in the woods that have taken over. Woods near Dulwich in south London.

Currently using this space to think out loud about the #ForestofLondon project. Hope you don't mind. The project re-imagines London as wildwood. There are places where the trees have already crept back. Here's some woods where a Victorian garden folly now looks more the part!

Did you know that London is a forest (sort of)? That thought has set me exploring the trees of London imagining them turning it into a wildwood. It's an ongoing project so watch this space.
