Disney is changing Fort Wilderness campsite rules. Beginning with arrivals on January 1, 2026, The Campsites at #Disney #FortWilderness Resort will be updated to be booked for a maximum of 8 guests. This represents a change from a maximum of 10 guests per campsite.

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue has been running in Pioneer Hall since 1974. It was originally expected to be a temporary, summer dinner show. The show proved so popular that at summer's end, it was continued and it's still running 50 years later!

In 1971, the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds opened at Walt Disney World. Originally scheduled to open with the rest of WDW on 10/1/1971, Fort Wilderness was delayed because workers were pulled away to help finish the Magic Kingdom on time.
