1930’s full size fountain pen mechanical pencil combination from Welsh Mfg. celluloid is a cream and black pattern that looks like squished bugs.

The bug splatter celluloid from Welsh is one is one of my favorites. It’s just so odd! This is a full size combo and is a lovely cream color. I thought my other two were in good shape but they look like caramel in comparison. #welshfountainpen #fountainpen #fountainpenrestoration

I don’t seek out Esterbrooks, but I occasionally end up with them. Though apparently I only end up with SJ’s in this color of green.🤣 this one has a nice 9556 nib and cleaned up very well for being covered in tape for what is likely decades. #fountainpen #fountainpenrestoration

A small green celluloid Welsh button filler. I have only seen two colors of this model. Very slender and has a Welsh branded nib with a tip! So does the silver one so I suspect that is the original nib. Tipped and branded Welsh nibs are highly unusual. #fountainpen #fountainpenrestoration

Two orange hard rubber large Morrison Tourist pen bodies. The lever box has been swapped from the lower to the upper.

Swapping levers on these Morrison bodies is one of the fussiest things I’ve done in a long while. I now have some semblance of understanding what building a ship-in-a-bottle entails. The last piece I need is a big juicy Morrisons #8 gold nib. If anyone is willing to part. #fountainpenrestoration
