Listening to @themarsvolta.bsky.social’s #FrancesTheMute record for the first time in a little while and still blown away by this masterpiece every bit as much as when I first bought the CD twenty years ago. One of the best — if not *the* best — albums of the 21st Century.

20 years ago I remember driving 45 mins to the nearest store(FYE) that would have an album like this in stock. Kinda worked out because the drive home was the perfect intro to this incredible album. Dark but full of flavor and style, an absolute masterpiece.
