Public Call for Participation in the 12-Day Blue Shirt Campaign Date - 2026, 10 April April 21, 2026, marks the 12th anniversary of the passing of former political prisoner Hantharwaddy U Win Tin, who consistently called for the release of political prisoners. On the 12th anniversary of the death of Hantharwaddy U Win Tin and in support of the release of all political prisoners, including President U Win Myint and public leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, as wel as the victory of the revolution, revolutionary forces and the public will carry out a 12 day Blue Shirt Campaign from today. April 10 to April 21, 2026, both online and on the ground. The release of political prisoners is a crucial step toward the liberation of the entire people and the fall of the military dictatorship. Therefore, we strongly urge the public to actively participate in the campaign. We further respectfully call on all domestic and international organizations, revolutionary forces, and members of the public to unite and take part in this campaign alongside us to secure the
immediate release of all unjustly detained political prisoners by: (1) Sharing photos or video of themselves wearing blue clothing (blue shirts) on social media.
