For many, this day symbolises their statehood and the enduring hope for a free and democratic country.

Any takes on this recently released book? Looks really good: _Natalia Radina's Belarus: Journalist vs. Dictator_ by Russian/USian historian Yuri Felshtinsky. Radina is ed-in-chief of Charter97, which in '10 was raided by #Belarus KGB. But I don't think the book is out in English yet? #FreeBelarus
