Is é Seán Kyne an t-iarrthóir is láidre a bheadh ag FG i nGaillimh Thiar d'fhothoghchán, ach níor éirigh leis in #ge20 ná #ge24.
Eibhlín Seoigthe an 't-iarrthóir leanúnachais' i ndiaidh Connolly, b'fhéidir?
Helen Ogbu arís do Pháirtí an Lucht Oibre?
Noel Thomas a tháinig sa séú háit in #ge24
I'm not sure that they convinced anyone.
Those who voted FF/FG in #GE24 are overwhelmingly the same people who voted for them in #GE20.
Nobody was convinced.
Voters stayed roughly where they have been for the last number of years.

Great headline in Dublin's Herald newspaper this morning - the puns are flying (see below). Arthur Conan Doyle would be proud and I suspect, most relieved.
Eliminatory, my dear Watson.
#GE2024 #GE20
Dublin Central seems to have the highest change in the country! #GE24 turnout 59% up from 51.2% (the lowest) in #GE20! I think Hutch support is driving that but it's not to do with his (bad) views on asylum seeking but because people see him as local and caring about the area.
Useful summary of the #ge20 count timeline to temper expectations today

#ge24
After a huge #GE20, it's somehow become a fringe issue again for #GE24.
Even #PBP aren't prioritising it.
Just the centre-left clump of #SocDems, #Greens and #Labour (which is still good to see, but unfortunate that it's become niche).
I finally got around to painting the kitchen.... in unrelated news I am now on my eighth election podcast of the day 😩 #GE20
