Students in my #GEO122 have to provide teamwork evidence when they have group meetings during class time to work on activities. Some include Zoom screenshots & they all look SO EXCITED TO BE THERE. I wish I could share, but don't want to violate their privacy. OMG. 💀💀💀

And another teamwork day done in my #GEO122 class! I'm really impressed with how good participation has been so far. They meet during "class time" in their teams & post to a discussion board, also providing evidence of teamwork. So far only a few students have missed. 1/
First real quiz is due tonight for my #GEO122 class. Do I send reminder to students who haven't taken it by this evening or just assume that they can & should keep track of their own deadlines?
My #GEO122 students are supposed to be working in their groups (virtually) this morning, so look forward to seeing what they post for the first team activity. I can see that pretty much the entire class has been on Canvas since "class time" started, so that's a good sign!
Always fun reading intros from my #GEO122 students. Almost all of them are double majoring or have minors with really cool combinations of disciplines. Summer class starts today! And it's so much easier managing ONE online class instead of THREE!

Did our first full fledged team activity in #GEO122 today & students were tasked w/ deciding on a business to open in their team's location (different cities around the world). We had a fun variety from a coffee shop greenhouse in Berlin to a call center in Dhaka, Bangladesh!

It takes so long to update the @CanvasLMS site for my #GEO122 class because I have SO MUCH stuff in there, but I think it's ready to publish... Then I can do some grading for winter online class. Whew!

My online #PhysicalGeography class starts today! We'll see how it goes w/o groups this time. Hoping to spend less time (zero) on conflict resolution since all assignments are now individual. Will be interesting to see what they come up with for the activities. #GEO122
