Congrats to Mridula Bhalla (IBS, Korea)! Her work identifies SIRT2 & ALDH1A1 as key enzymes driving astrocytic GABA production in Alzheimer’s. Silencing SIRT2 in APP/PS1 mice reduced GABA and improved memory.
