Each of Westlands' ASR wells recharges water directly into the lower aquifer at roughly 2 AF per day. Around one of our ASR wells, we’ve seen a 131.5 foot increase in groundwater levels since 2023 with a .23 foot uplift in subsidence. #GWAW #AquiferStorage #CVP

Just learned that it is National Groundwater Awareness Week. Did you know that 15%, or 1 in 6 people, rely on private well water for the drinking water in the U.S.? More than twice that, or 100 million, rely on public wells for their water supply. That’s half of all Americans. 🧪⚒️ #gwaw
