This doodle was supposed to be a test for a smaller keychain-size drawing, but I just kept working on it so now it’s a badge.

I did try making more keychains over the weekend, but Daiso didn’t have many in stock and they also changed the design a bit. I could buy cheaper ones on Amazon, but I like that the ones from Daiso has the chain that spins. Finding the right colors out of 48 colored pencils is also hard. #GabeArts
I got this photo keychain from Daiso a long time ago and wanted to make something for it. So I made a small drawing of @beviraku.net. Using colored pencils on a 1.5”x1.25” canvas is tough. #GabeArts
Wanted to try doing another pen only drawing. Not as quick as the first attempt, but lines still ended up very messy. Also doing mote attempts at a simplified Gabe.
I think I’ll stick with pencil sketching first and then using pen afterwards. #GabeArts
I’ve been trying to think of ways to simplify drawing a Gabe for small doodles. It came out rather poorly. No sketch, just pens on an index card. Turned it into a badge for fun. Doubt I’d laminate it, was mostly just to test out some ideas for later. #GabeArts
A while back @rickgriffin.bsky.social made a Housepets sketch of Peanut and his owner Earl if Earl had been transformed into a collie. Got me thinking if Earl was a dog, maybe his partner Jill would be turned into a cat. Thinking maybe a long haired cat and settled on a ragdoll cat. #GabeArts
At today’s local fuzzy meetup one of the furs bought a bag of cookies from the ice cream truck and they gave him the whole box.
It was the worst chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had.

Micron pens are pretty cool to use. I’ll need to test them out some more.
Also, I don’t know how to pick colors with colored pencils. These crayola pencils are also legally old enough to vote.
